Book Fairs at Northern Hills!!!
Northern Hills Elementary holds 3 book fairs each year. One in the fall, one in the spring, and a BOGO Book Fair each May. If you are interested in helping with any of the books fairs please contact the librarian, Mrs. Cohlmia. She would love to have your help with decorations, set up , working the fair, and tear down.

We will be celebrating READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK and DR SEUSS’ BIRTHDAY with a book fair this year!
Book fair will run from Monday February 27-March 3
Monday, February 27 8:30am-3:00pm
Tuesday, February 28: GRAND EVENT: 7:50-8:20
Come in and shop with a GRAND parent or someone else GRAND in your life!
Tuesday, February 28: 8:30am-3:00pm
Wednesday, March 1: 8:30am-3:00pm
Thursday, March 2: 8:30am-7:30pm Open after school and for OPEN HOUSE!
Friday, March 3: 8:30am-Noon

(because open house is science/STEM theme)

Dr Seuss day! – Dress as your favorite (nonviolent) book character

COIN COLLECTION CHALLENGE!
We will have a BATTLE OF THE COINS. We will have 4 team jugs for students to deposit their coins into. PRE-2nd, 3rd-5th, Office Staff, and Specials Staff. Teachers from each team have volunteered to be turned into an ice cream sundae if their teams jug filled with coins weighs the most at the end of the week! Start saving those coins now! We will start this challenge on February 27th. Coins can be brought to the library.

This challenge will help to purchase books for students who otherwise cannot afford them and purchase books for classroom libraries.
