Meet The Masters

Volunteers Needed

We will have our annual Meet the Masters work day on Friday, Sept. 29th from 8:30am-3:15pm in the PTO room.  We need lots of help to prep supplies for the year.  We will be counting supplies into class sets, cutting paper, etc.  No experience or art expertise required.  Come for an hour or all day – any time you can spare will be appreciated.  The conversation is always good, and we’ll bring chocolate!

Meet the Masters volunteer training for new volunteers and any previous volunteers who would like a refresher will also be on Friday, September 29 from 8:30-9am in the Media Center.

For those new to Northern Hills, Meet the Masters is an art program presented to students 3-4 times per year by parent volunteers.  This is a very “hands-on” volunteer experience!  It’s a great chance to get in the classroom, meet your child’s classmates and interact with your child’s teacher.  If you have younger children, you are welcome to bring them along when volunteering for a Meet the Masters session.  My daughter participated in many Meet the Masters sessions with the big kids when she was 3 and 4 years old while I was volunteering.  No artistic experience or ability is required – we’ll provide a script and video showing you exactly what to do.  And if you would like to help but are not comfortable leading a session, we always needs lots of parent volunteers in the classroom during Meet the Masters sessions to help with passing out supplies and keeping the kids on track.  If you would like to volunteer to help with Meet the Masters in your child’s classroom, please contact us for more information.
